When you’re on the go, you may not be able to shower or deodorize. To avoid stinkin’ up the joint, there’s a new alternative.

Deo Perfume Candy is not only a functional candy, it’s apparently also a functional six hour deodorant.

It works in much the same way that garlic and other types of foods seep through your skin, providing a distinct stench for all to enjoy.

The candy contains an active compound that cannot be broken down by the body and is instead released through your skin, giving you the option to smell like roses, lavender or vanilla.

Geraniol

The active ingredient in the funky treat is geraniol, an alcohol found in rose petals that’s commonly used in perfumes.

One serving size of the edible perfume (4 pieces of candy!) is enough to help hide your unpleasant odor until you can get home and hose off.

I wouldn’t recommend a permanent switch to this method of improving your smell quality, but it could be a nice thing to have in a pinch.

While perfume candy may not be for everyone, this version of edible deodorant has successfully debuted in several European countries, and is already sold out on Amazon.

Have you tried or do you intend to try edible deodorant anytime soon?
