Robots continue to become more human everyday.

Researchers at the University of Tokyo are perfecting human bio-inspired robots. Their their new human-like musculoskeletal robot Kenshiro mimics the body of an average 12 year old Japanese male.

The goal of the design was to mirror the major muscles in the human body, and judging by the video, they were successful. Kenshiro features 160 pulley-like muscles that behave astonishingly similar to the way we do. Bio-inspired humanoid robots are the goal of designers and scientists the world over, and Kenshiro is the most complex variation to date.
