DoorBot: Live Video Chat To Replace Doorbell
The doorbell has served humanity well over the years, preventing friends, loved ones and delivery people from standing unannounced outside of homes.
We can all agree the doorbell has had a nice run, but don’t you think it’s time for an upgrade?
The DoorBot
The DoorBot is a “wireless doorbell that streams live video and audio of your front door directly to your smartphone or tablet. Simply install DoorBot, download the free app and you’re ready to go.”
DoorBot, created by a company called Edison Junior, has been successfully funded, and should hit the commercial market later this year.
With children born today spending over 25% of their lives in front of a screen (probably a conservative estimate), the DoorBot makes a lot of sense.
