Using one first person shooter per year, a team from NoFrag.com put together this short, yet fascinating trip down memory lane.

The video showcases the in-game metamorphosis of graphics, speed and overall gaming capabilities over the last 20 years, from 1992 to 2012.

Though the video leaves out some timeless classics like 007, Halo, Unreal and COD, it’s still a pretty fascinating watch.

Just imagine what this compilation will look like in another 20 years.
